I went to check on Thayne, given his past record of "experiences" in the garage, I have to check on him often. This is how I found him....he was convinced there was one more Popsicle in the bottom of the freezer! Too bad it was a package of jerky!

Wow!.....Is summer really almost over? I guess with kids keeping you on your toes, time flies! I have to start with Thayne and rocks. Him and his b.f.f. Benjamin where suppose to be riding their bikes in the garage, not exactly what I found when I went to check on them. They had the gas tank lid off the four wheeler-Thanye being the boss he is (don't have any idea where he gets it:) is supervising-while Benjamin using the little gardening shovel is filling the gas tank up with rocks! Yes......all the way up! I just turned around and headed back in to the house and yelled "Cody". Luckily for the boys, Cody was in getting dressed to go to the temple (James and Amber where receiving their endowments and getting sealed to their kids the next week.).....so he didn't say too much. While on the subject of rocks......they are everywhere. Kaycee's diaper, our not so kid-friendly neighbors lawn and oh..... about 10 in my washer.

In the same week, I had Thayne's bed room window open airing his room out. I hear the water turn on outside..........go to check on him.......I hear..."Mom I'm trying to get it in my window". Yep water running in his room. Boys.Boys.Boys!

Something about water and kids!It was so funny, the neighbor kid was over playing and says to me "Your baby has a lot of skin." (Meaning fat rolls:)Thayne loves to help in the kitchen and whips us up a smoothie almost everyday!Excuse MeThayne's partner in crime.....Benjamin. Grandma Jill said she wanted some veggies from our garden for her b-day so i decided to make soup. Thayne informed me you don't have soup on your b-day....you have cake. So we decided to make her a cake. He went outside and came in with his bike helmet on and said "it's so the cake wouldn't get on my head".Favorite spot to play.....not much sand left. I'm pretty sure most of it is in my house!Kaycee loves to listen to the nursery rhymes on the computer. Her favorite song is Old McDonald. When she wakes up I hear "EIEIO" coming from her crib.I love her eyelashes....defiantly go the luscious lashes from her dad.And that's a wrap.

Tina took a few pictures of Kaycee and Thayne. It was a bright day, we were on a busy road and screaming kids-but got some cute pictures! Cody loves the age Kaycee is at! She makes us laugh. She thinks she is sooooo big. She loves book, her baby and Thayne. Thayne is getting so big! He loves his bike (and is crazy on it!). He loves to play with friends (he sits outside just waiting for someone to come outside). He loves his dad, every morning he wakes up and says " I don't want dad to go!". He loves his grandparents!

So Thayne and Cody decided they were going to make a boat and float it down the canal. They were pretty creative! They were back in about 10 minutes and Thayne said "Mom it sunk". They are determined to make another one that will take the rapids!

Thayne learned all his letters on the computer, so we put him to work teaching Kaycee.

5 Years

To Celebrate: George Strait/Reba/Leann Womack

A lot of talent to fit in on one night! Good! Thanks to grandma Jill for having a spend over with Thayne, and Aunt Brandi for watching Kaycee. We left her for 5 hours-the longest in her life! The first date we've been on since Kaycee was born. I have to mention that I got my love for George Strait from Barbara and Kellee Eyre! I remember Kellee listening to him when she was in high school and Barbara in our college years.

We ventured to Willow Park this past week. This is Thaynes latest move...really quite funny!

This little helper can hear any sound in the house and know what she wants to do, I can't open the dishwasher without her climbing in!

Thayne loves dice, he carries them around everywhere.

Kaycee loves to dance. I'll play music on the computer and when she hears it she runs over to the bench and starts dancing-so cute. I tell Thayne no more TV. So he heads to the computer to "play games" but somehow ends up watching more cartoons. And Kaycee.....monkey see-monkey do!

Thayne decided Kaycee wanted a "pink puppy cake" for her birthday. This is what she ended up with..............Cody thinks it's more of a pink panther cake!

Cody and I both love this age! Kaycee is such a ham and is always making us laugh. She runs around and can keep up with Thayne; he loves having someone to play with. Some of her words at one......ma ma, da da, i did it, what is it, hi (with the cutest wave!) and no-no-no. She LOVES to be outside especially if it is with her dad feeding the horses, to bath and to eat! She slept with mom her first year but is now in her own bed and does great. Time sure does fly....seems just like yesterday we brought her home from the hospital! We love you Kaycee!!!!

Thayne had a great birthday! Cody took him and Ava to the Fun Park, he got to eat whatever he wanted all day and he had a great party! Thanks to everyone for the presents! He did wake up sick and wasn't in the best of moods. After the party Grandma Tami zoned his feet and he was a different boy! We just love having this boy in our family!

Kaycee 3 Months

I know she is now six months.....but rewind three months. (My photographer took these before she had her baby and recently found the time to get them to me! I don't know how she finds the time to do all that she does! Thanks Tina!) I'm tearing up posting these because Kaycee is growing up so fast! I just want to pause this age for a little longer. We love her sweet smile and personality! You can defiantly love the second child as much as the first!

The mighty hunters!

Every time we pray Thayne pipes in and adds "bless James, and Beav (Steve) and the horses."

They all drew out a deer tag in Wyoming. Cody shot a three point and loved every minute of it. He would have ten horses and live in the mountains if it where an option!

On our way to the park...Thayne is a wild man on his bike and I can't keep up pushing the stroller! One of his latest is "Momma I got a question for ya"...the first time he asked I was scared to hear the question, but it is usually "can we go to the park today?"

I can just imagine what Kaycee is thinking, it looks something like.....

"Thayne are you serious!"

"Pee-Pee in the Pot...ti..." (potty song..thanks to Tiff)

Thayne's first over-night pack trip!!

He loves being outdoors.....just like his dad!! He loved every minute of it! He hiked over 2 miles in and 2 miles out.So when they reached their destination.....Cody started to set the tent up and realized he had forgotten the poles!! They slept under the stars. It rained for a while in the night so Cody held a blanket over Thayne's head and he never woke up all night!

Thayne loves to play with his cousin Addy! He wants to call her everyday to come over or he wants to go to her house.

Thayne sits on his potty a lot, but not much action.

My moms side goes to Bear Lake every year and goes to a play at the Pickleville Playhouse. The play was really funny! My grandma Elda played with Thayne all day. It was really windy so Kaycee wasn't having as much fun. She is a mommies girl and doesn't like too many people at this point......sorry!

Thayne got to have his first sleep-over with grandma Jill, while Cody and I were at the hospital...I don't know how much sleep grandma got, but Thayne loved it....He loves to go to grandma Jill's house!!

I had to show the beautiful blankets that Kaycee received from her great-grandma's.....the first two where made by great-grandma Wickham and the third one by great-grandma Toolson!! Thanks

Kind-of sad.....Kaycee's newborn clothes no longer fit!! Before you know it she is....................

2 Months old!!!

She is such a good baby! Sleeps well at night...right next to me in my bed (I don't know if it is a good thing or not....but a lot easier on the night feedings!) She loves to smile and talk! We love her!

And Thayne...he's been up to a lot lately.........

Kaycee arrived on Friday March 12, 2010 at 9:02 p.m. 7 lb. 15 oz. 20 in.

I ended up having an emergency c-section...not the plan, but we'll definitely take her!!

She is a sweet baby and is a pro at nursing!!

"If you build it they will come"......or if your mom builds it "she" (as in baby) will come???

My mom was so nice to offer....or maybe I just volunteered her to make all the babies bedding and these cute curtains! She has been laboring away for a couple of months!! We figured out how much it would have cost to buy it all and it totalled over $1000.00! I spent around $200.00 for all the fabric. I got a good deal, but I don't know about my mom!! ThAnKs!! My aunt Teresa also helped her! ThAnKs!! Oh and I can't forget my brother-in-law Tim.....He so graciously painted the room and the crib.....he even didn't complain that I made him use low V.O.C. paint....(I think it was a pain to use on the crib...sorry).....and ThAnKs!! Oh and Thayne colored all over the pink walls a couple of days after Tim painted with a brown crayon....I guess it had to be broken in!

I'm going to hang her name from the metal...if I could decide!

I'll be 38 weeks on Friday!! I'm so excited to have this baby.....I'm going to have a Vbac (my doc said he'll let me go to 41 weeks and if she hasn't come then a c-section, but I'm confident she'll be here!!) and my sis Tiff is going to assist me...We haven't gotten around to any maternity pictures....but this one is when Tina did a few family pictures.....I think I was around 5-6 months....My belly is aloooooot bigger now and my hair is short!! Cody swears there is two in it!!

Well all through the holidays I thought my camera died...low and behold I just had the wrong kind of batteries........So I missed Christmas morning but this is Thayne's "castle" Santa brought. Thayne also really wanted a hammer....he got this fun tool bench from grandma Jill...he's so funny when he tries to smile!

Addy and Thanye thought it was so funny to ride double on the zebra!

Thayne's latest passion is playing on the computer. I can't believe how fast he picks up on things and knows what to do from watching me when we play together. He sits at the computer and moves the mouse around and clicks on the right place....it's kind-of nice letting him entertain himself! (He has learned all his letters,their sounds and much more from the computer.) Every night he says "brush teeth, play stories on the computer and go to bed".....and that's his routine.

A couple weeks ago my sisters and I went to St George (without any kids....except Max....he's still nursing so he was allowed....) to have a little getaway and visit my grandma and grandpa Wickham. I can't believe we didn't get any pictures; that's O.K. with me though cause I'm quite large about now!! It was 32' in Cedar City and when we lowered down into St. George it was about 55'. We thought is was summer! I'm excited for spring and for the new baby!! Thanks grandma and grandpa for having us....we had quite a few really good laughs-I won't go into details!!

Cody's horse Burns died around Christmas time from colic. Since then all Cody can think about is finding and getting a new horse. Every ten minutes he would get on KSL and look at the horses for sale. Well after months of being horseless......he found Tex (short for Texas). I give him a hard time cause he seems lost and lonely without a horse! I'm glad to report he is once again a happy man. Thayne loves helping Cody feed the horse. He also loves to be outside! Cody takes him on walks, hiking and bike rides. Thayne is going to be one lost puppy when Cody starts working again, I think I will be also...I have a babysitter whenever I need one!

Favorite Words:Dada, horse,"what is it", Cody, "oh ya" and cookie.

Loves:Dogs, balls, all foods, his dad, looking at books, being outside, playing with other kids, racing to the bathroom when we leave the door open and baths.

Dislikes:haircuts, sitting in church for longer than 10 minutes and mommy brushing his teeth.

Cody and I love this age!!! It is so fun to watch him learn new things! He is a bit stubborn and has to do things his way.....who did he get that from??? We love his wet kisses. He's such a happy boy and we are so thankful he is part of our family!

Thayne is officially walking!! He has been taking steps here and there for a couple weeks, but the past few days he goes where ever he wants!! (It sure does keep Cody and I on our toes!)

He looks so grown-up in this pircture!! One of his favorite past times.......trying to unplug everything! Well the trip to St. George was really fun and relaxing! My grandma is the best host ever! She is constantly getting you whatever you want! She was either cooking, playing with Thayne or we had a hot game of cards going. My mom and I went to a play at the Tuachan amphitheatre; it was really good. I would recommend going! I think next year Footloose and Annie are playing! Thayne loved to see both his grandma and his great grandpa and grandma!

Thayne and I usually go for a walk a couple times a week, I have to say fall is in the air! The time of year to get bundled up!!

Man.....time sure does fly by! My sis brought it to my attention I haven't posted anything for about two months!! It feels like it has been a really busy summer, but I don't know what I've really done! My sister Tiffany and her family are now home from Alaska!! We are excited about that! I've been so engrossed in politics lately....I had to watch the Democratic National Convention and now I'm trying to watch all of the Republican National Convention that I can!

This past weekend we went to the annual Putman/Mills family reunion.....I have to say I'm pretty much a sissy!! Cody was so excited to camp with Thayne and sleep in a tent! Well we went to bed, Thayne and I in a sleeping bag together and Cody in another. They both zonked out, but me....my back hurt on the hard ground and I was cold and I couldn't sleep and they were singing so loud around the fire and...O.K. I'll stop! Needless to say, we packed up at 10:30 p.m. and drove 2 hours back home! I was thinking about the pioneers the whole time and how tough they were and how I would have never had made it! Sorry to everyone for dogging out!

I just have to say I love this time of year and I love the smell of fall!

I can't believe Thayne is already six months old....it seems like yesterday we had a sweet new baby! He is getting such a cute personality!! When he smiles he uses his whole mouth!! He is so fun and we love that he is part of our family! My sis Tina did these awesome pictures!! There are more on her photo blog if you can't get enough!! Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake a couple weekends ago for a Wickham side reunion....

it was fun to see everyone!!

Not much has been happening here!! Cody is really busy with work and trying to fit in a horse ride here and there. I'm trying to take and online class, but haven't made it too far! I also need to get health insurance ASAP, anyone have any suggestions on who to go with?? This weekend Tina and Ava came up and we went up High Creek and made tin foil dinners...they turned out really good!

We went home this weekend to visit my parents;my brother Todd thought of a few more of my dads famous "one liners"! I was pondering and had a thought to write down memories of my parents so I can always go back and read them in case I forget them. So I'm adding more of my dads one liners to the previous list on the fathers day blog.

"My heck"
"It takes a chicken and a half to lay an egg and a half in a day and a half"

"Bloated up tighter than tight"

"How long are you gonig to milk that?....Whats all that white stuff?"
"Why....would you do that??" (This usually is said to my mom! One example....Tim Kelly witnessed this one, everyone was sitting in the family room watching T.V. when the phone rings....my mom answers and its for my dad. Well my dad is watching T.V. and dosen't hear my mom tell him the phone is for him. She says "Hi ya" and throws the phone at my dad. Before he knows what is going on it hits him in the side of the face!! Then he says"Why would you do that??"

Thayne is almost 6 months old!! I can't believe it!! Cody thinks it's time for another one! He found out he loves new babies. Two weeks ago, Thayne got his shots and was fussy for a couple days; I thought it was from the shots but no....he got his first tooth on bottom. Then yesterday I feeling his tooth and found another one! He now has both bottom teeth.....he hasn't bit me yet:)

His first experience eating rice cereal!! More on him than in his mouth!
Too busy watching TV to eat! And I think he likes chewing on the spoon more than the cereal, cause it feels good to the teeth!
Man I better cut back a little......my belly almost doesn't fit in the chair!
I love his big brown eyes!!

My Dad's tougher than your Dad!!!!

I think it was in middle school when my sister Tiffany and my cousin Kimberly sang "My dad's tougher than your dad" in the talent show!! I still remember it cause it was so cute! I was thinking about my dad and here are the top ten reasons my dad is the best!!

10. He is like an encyclopedia.....he knows everything! All of his kids are calling him constantly asking questions!! (I think my husband Cody gets annoyed at me cause I call my dad and double check him sometimes!) You can tell dad is a little irritated though, when he answers his cell phone and he is out of breath cause he is on a roof or a ladder! Sorry dad.

9. He has a great sense of humor!! He can find a bright side or something funny about any situation!

8. He gets along with everyone and people just love to be around him. Kids also love him!

7. He gives the best presents! He thinks and thinks and gives the best stuff. He spoiled us at Christmas when we were little (and still does)!

6. He's a great cook....some of his specialties are hamburgers, steaks, breakfast and dutch oven. Yummy!

5. He is a great speaker and teacher.

4. No matter where we are or what is going on, you always feel safe if he is around. Like nothing can happen to you!

3. He can live with our wonderful mom, and probably the one and only who can! J/K mom. He jokes about how he could write a whole book called "Life with my wife"!!

2. He is one of the hardest workers I know. He has some days he doesn't feel to good and he still gives it 100%! He would to anything to help any of his kids if they needed it!

1. He has a strong testimony of the gospel and is one of my best examples!

Party Time

We went to Ava's birthday party this weekend.....Thayne was excited to see everyone!!

Oh no!! Grandma Tami has me!!! J/K Thayne really does remember my moms voice cause she was with us the first two weeks of life.

Ava that looks sooo fun!! I want a turn! Ava was so cute at her party! She was so excited about all the fun.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mothers Day!! I want to tell everyone why I think my mom is so great! First off, now that I'm a mom, I can't imagine how anyone can have three of four kids yet alone eight kids!! (She even had us all natural, without any drugs!!) She got married right out of high school and started having us, even though she was the valedictorian of her class and had a full ride scholarship to any Wyoming school! I remember when we were younger dad was busy with his construction business, on the school board and bishop all at once!! I don't know how mom didn't have a mental breakdown trying to handle all of us; me ex specially cause I was (probably still am) such a brat! She was always home when we got home from school, usually with homemade (healthy) cookies or something good! I remember growing up I was so scared at night, well OK in the day also, and I would lay in my bed in the middle of the night and yell "mom" cause I was too scared to go to her room, so she would come to mine. She was a 24/7 taxi to us all until Travis could start driving (even then I would still opt to have her give me a ride cause he was such a crazy driver!) I could go on and on about all the many things she did for us all! Now that we are all grown up she continues to help us all out! She came and stayed with me when we were building our house, she painted, cleaned windows, helped me move and even cleaned my dirty rental. Then she came and stayed with me for about two weeks when I had Thayne. Recently she was in Utah helping Tiff move and in Colorado visiting Trav all in one week! She is so dedicated to the church with a strong testimony and is willing to accept any calling. I think one of her great qualities is unconditional love for everyone even when they don't show it back! I am so glad I have such a great mom and wonderful example. I know no one is perfect, but she is close! Here is a cute picture of my mom and dad, he gets a shout out for being a bachelor when she's always gone!

I thought I would put on some wedding pictures...we have been married two years on the 8th!! I can't believe it!! Baby Thayne as Peyton would say......We can't believe how much he has changed! This is the cute birth announcement Tina made for me!! Tina has found a new hobby of taking pictures and making everything you could imagine and we love it!! But notice in this picture he has no eyebrows.....He woke up one morning with eyebrows and Cody thought I was putting makeup on them to make them darker.... Cody is totally in love with his baby boy!! He gets up in the night and brings him to me to nurse and then I can hear them out in the living room playing...that's a habit we need to break; no playing in the middle of the night!!

This is the cute snowsuit Jamie gave him!! Thanks Sorry it took so long to update...I still haven't bought a new computer so Tina has been helping me do it. It was crazy when we had Thayne...the second night in the hospital Cody got sick and thougt it was from the hospital meatloaf..He finally listened to me and went to the emergency room and had his appendix out...We were both patients in the hospital at the same time! I went home and he had to stay. Thanks to mom-on-wheels- she came to the rescue and saved me. Cody was still sick and had an infected blood clot (so they think) and had to go back to the emergency room and they took him to Ogden. I was a little stressed not knowing what was going to happen and a two week old I barely knew how to take care of! I think everything is back to normal!! Thanks to everyone who helped us out!! And for all the cute baby stuff!!

Baby Thayne was born on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Logan Regional Hospital. He weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and is 20 inches. Here is a sneak peek for all of you....Tracy can post more pictures when she gets home and settled. He is such a little cutie pie!

This is less than a half hour after he was born. This was our very first look at little Thayne. We were all waiting in the waiting room and Cody came up to the window in the nursery and showed us what he looked like through the window. The glass was thick and we were trying to ask Cody all the details about how much he weighed and how Tracy was.....you should have seen our sign language because we couldn't hear each other!!! Cody is such a proud daddy and so cute with him. (Sorry about the bright glare, as I said it was taken through the window).

Here is the proud mommy. She is going to be such a good mother! Tracy and the baby are doing well.
