Lake Alice

Cody, Thayne and Todd decided they needed to go on a fishing trip before Todd moved to Texas.  They decided on Memorial day weekend and Lake Alice for  the destination.  They got there and it was snowing, they set up the tent and it was snowing and they went fishing and it was snowing!  When they got back to the tent after fishing the first night Cody was worried the tent was going to collapse from all the snow!  They didn't have a heater and couldn't start a fire that night (I don't think I would have made it)!!!  They got up the next morning, and being the die hard fishermen they are, put on their wet clothes and hiked two miles back to the lake for another day of fishing!  The fishing was good and  they caught about 50 fish that day.  They were able to start a fire that day and get Thayne warmed up!  Thayne had a blast and so did Cody, and I'm sure Todd did too!  Glad Todd is back in the area for more fun fishing trips!

 Hike to Tony's Grove

Cody wanted to take Thayne for a hike so they decided to hike from Richmond to Tony Grove.  The departure time would be 4 a.m., Thyane was so excited all night he couldn't sleep and woke Cody up at 3 a.m.  They had  breakfast and got their head lamps on and rode the four wheeler up to Cherry Creak.  The started hiking at 4 a.m. and hiked to Chery Creak peak, and up to Mt. Naomi then down to Tony's Grove.   Kace and I picked them up at Tony's Grove around 1 p.m. and brought Cafe Rio.  Toots just about didn't make it cause she didn't get much water.  Thayne hiked most of the 12 mile hike all by himself and his favorite part was hiking to Mt Naomi because he said he had to rock climb to get to the top.  They saw some elk and deer, sneaked up on a porcupine and scared it up a tree and got scared by a grouse flying out of a bush by them in the dark.  Thayne loves that his dad will take him on all these adventures!

 Soccer 2012

My friend Annika signed up her daughter (very cute I must say!) Kennadi for indoor soccer in Logan.  We decided it would be fun to join in!  This was Thayne's first time playing soccer and he learned alot!  It's so fun to watch them learn new things.  I'm so glad Annika was there to chat with!  She is such a great friend! Thanks to her for all these wonderful pictures and thanks to her husband Jeff for being a great coach!

Kennadi and Thayne
Thayne loves to hike his pants up as far as they will go these days:)
Oh and Kaycee loved to go to soccer.............for the treats!

Kennadi's birthday party at the jump zone, so fun!

Kaycee helping herself to some cereal!  She is so funny these days!  She definitely has an attitude and is stubborn!  If she doesn't get what she wants she will say "I'm not your friend then", or she will tell me "you are going to jail and staying forever" to which I reply, "then you won't have a mom".  She doesn't skip a beat and says "maybe Tina will be my mom"!   Oh she always says "wow, that is awesome", like when I was making my bed and she walks in and says's "Wow mom, that is awesome".  Guess I need to make my bed more!

Thayne and his Karate performance.
Love how he always has his tongue out when he is concentrating!  I think i did/do that!
Love having the cousins come over!
Brigham City Temple dedication.  Tina and I decided we would go to together and take the kids to see the Temple! Everyone was so excited!  The bus ride from the parking lot to the temple was a favorite part!  The temple is beautiful and i'm glad we all got to feel the sweet spirit that was there!  Thanks for going with us Aunt Tina and for taking pictures!

How did I not see the post until now? You are one busy mama! I can't believe how tough Thayne is to go on all those adventures. In the snow?!? He has one awesome dad for giving him such cool opportunities. And soccer...when are we signing up again? ;) glad you were there too! My favorite was Kaycee's comment that Tina will just be her mom. Ha love her spunk!
